Privacy Notice

This notice has been prepared by Attorney Sibel ÖZTÜRK, as data controller, pursuant to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”), regarding the processing of personal data shared through the contact form on sibelozturk.av.tr.

Personal data processed

Through the contact form, your name and surname, telephone number, email address, subject and message content, as well as your IP address for security purposes, are processed.

Purposes and legal basis

Your personal data are processed for the purposes of evaluating your request, responding to you and conducting communication, based on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2)(c) and (f) of the PDPL, namely that processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract and is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller.

Transfers

Your personal data are not shared with third parties except for legal obligations and requests from competent public authorities. They may be transferred to hosting and email service providers only to the extent necessary for the provision of those services.

Retention

Your personal data are retained for as long as required by the purpose of processing and subject to the periods prescribed by applicable legislation; thereafter they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the PDPL, you have the right to learn whether your personal data are processed, to request information, to learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used accordingly, to know the third parties to whom data are transferred, to request rectification, erasure or destruction, to object to adverse outcomes arising from exclusively automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
